"A Midsummer Night’s Dream", by William Shakespeare is one of his most popular and comedic works. Our rendition set in the 1960’s,is accompanied by some of the Beatles greatest hits. This comedy revolves around the adventures of 4 young lovers, a group of amateur actors and their interactions with the creatures of a moonlit forest. After they cross paths with the King of the Shadows, Queen of the Fairies, and the mischievous Puck, no love will be the same. Adding to the confusion is Bottom, the weaver, and his friends who come to rehearse their play, but who are possibly leaving with something more. |
