The Brother Rice High School Leadership Institute was developed in 2007 to promote and develop Christian leadership skills throughout the Brother Rice community. The Institute recognizes Brother Rice alumni who have exhibited tremendous leadership throughout the years. Nominees must have graduated from Brother Rice, been an alumnus for 10+ years, and exhibited positive leadership during their time at Rice and in their chosen careers. The 123 nominees, whose names, graduation years and current profession are posted above classroom doors throughout the school, were chosen by alumni. Overview, Criteria & Selection Purpose Criteria Selection Committee To be approved for induction, the candidate must have a majority of the votes from the Selection Committee. The Selection Committee will determine the number of inductees each year based on the quality of nominations. There will be no set limit. The Selection Committee will be comprised of various individuals representative of the Brother Rice community and will remain anonymous. Selection Process |
